Where did the time go?!

My little boy is 6 mo old!!!!! Ok so he was actually 6 mo old the 19th of may, but do you ever have times where you are jsut not motivated to blog??? That has been me for the last month lol But today I just had the urge. So here I am posting a catch up blog!!! We took the lil man to the Dr and he now weight 14lb 3 oz and is 25.75 inches long! He started out at 6lb 10 oz and 19.5 inches.
Look how tiny he was! and all scrunched up! I really can't believe how much has changed in only 6 short months! So here are some things my lil bug is doing now...

* He can roll over, but doesn't like to :p Poo on tummy time!!!

* He is all about sitting up though!
Put that boppy pillow around him and
he'll have a ball!

* He is a co-sleeper. It kinda scared me before but now we're so use to snuggling with each other and as long as there is sleep being had- I can't complain :)

* we have started jar foods! Yuummmm!!! His pediatrician suggested one of the 1st foods we give him is meat ...:p But the little guy actually likes it! Go figure!

* He is such a little talker. Riley gets up at 4 am ( EWWW!) And often Jaxon is awake and bids him farewell with some cute babble. He also has discovered whisering LoL He'll lay there whispering "dahh dahh" SO CUTE!!!

Speaking of DaDa..THERE HE IS!! HAHAHAHA! And since he doesn't read my blog he won't know I posted this pic of him hehehehehe. But what a great DaDa he is. He takes care of the babies when I go to work at night time, and even gets the lil guy down to bed if he hasn't gone down by the time I have to go. I love my hubby!!!

We also had some visitors this last weekend...my mom and sister came for a visit!!! We had plenty of fun just hanging out and spending time with them. We missed our G- dad terribly, but we'll see him in July when Daae's birthday rolls around- and you will get another post about how time has flown by!! DAH- make it stop!

And speaking of the little crazy... it wouldn't be a proper post without a picture of her, would it??? :D Here she is dancing away in our front yard with her Belle dress on. I took about 30 shots of her just twirling around- she's so fun to take pics of! I couldn't resist! I LOVE that the weather has finally decided to be decent- noting like chillin outside in the spring air - or dancing in it :D

But back to the lil man-

* he hates to lay down in his bath tub now :( So we've began bathing in the sink, but I need to get a siting ring for some extra caution sooo if anyone has one

* He LOVES his sister . No one can get him laughing quite like she can. In the morning he'll here her voice and whip his head in her direction- I hope the love lasts :)

* whenever he gets frustrated, he quickly shoves his hand in his mouth. He wants to grab and touch EVERYTHING these days and it seems like his hands won't do what his brain is telling them lol He'll get it, but in the meantime it can be frustrating!

* and another person he loves... his MOMMY!!! Yeah!!! But I'm pretty sure I love him more. He is my little buggy and I can't imagine life without him :D

Well that's all folks! I actually do have some video I'll have to post soon, but my comp is being a freak so it'll have to wait :) Thanks for putting up with my catch up blog!!!!

Happy Mother's Day!

Well I didn't intent to blog today, but then I remembered something I was thinking about at work as I endlessly vacuumed & I thought I'd share. I has thinking about my kids, and something I told one of the guys at work one night after I had had Jaxon. He has a little girl and we were talking about how fun having #2 is and how he was looking forward to that one day. I love it! Having 2 kiddos has been really great, but I had to issue Chris a warning in our conversation....having 2 is fun, but also a bit heartbreaking. It is heartbreaking because you know how fast it all goes by. When our first little baby came into our home she was a tough one, and every new thing was anticipated! She was growing and changing, and with her tough personality at that age we were ready to move on to the next step. And when Jaxon was born and as he's grown I have a different attitude because I know where it is going. He will grow and change and in minutes I'll be looking at a little boy about to turn 5 just like I'm seeing Daaelynn now- and it breaks my heart. I'm often telling her to stop growing these days. Her response is usually something like " But Mom I have to grow up and be a momma like you!" :( TEARS! With Jaxon I'm trying to absorb it all and not look so much forward to the next stepping stone, but just enjoy where we are now. I think that goes for life in general enjoying where you are in the present. I will forever be grateful to my Heavenly Father for giving me my children and trusting them to me. I'm trying harder each day to be a mother they will always look to with love and trust. I want to bring the spirit into my home and always give my children a firm foundation. There is a saying that goes- Give your children wings to fly, and roots to come home to. I'm working on the roots right now, but that have to wait for their wings because I'm not ready!!!! Being a mom is not easy, but it has brought me so much joy. I commend all you moms out there & wish you a happy Mother's day :D
My blessings that made me a Momma :D

April!

So I was downloading a bunch of pics from my SD card onto the computer and realized I have a lot to share! So here is a menagerie of pics form the beginning of April to now for you!

For April Fool's Day, Daaelynn decided to wash her cat.... too bad it was an electronic cat! It didn't kill it thank goodness, but he has a funky hair do now :)

HAPPY EASTER!!!

What a HANDSOME lil bunny rabbit :D This was much cuter than the snow we had outside :P We ended up having an inside Easter Egg hunt at my in-laws house. It was kinda crowded, but still fun! Here are my two bunny's at Grandma's house below:)

DaaeDaae bunny was thrilled to get Tiana's movie from the Easter bunny- she is quoting it right now as I type this LoL It really is a WAY cute movie!

Then moving onto this last week, my kids decided to get sick! Bleh!!! they both got colds, but each had their issues. Daaelynn is a highly emotional girl and when you put sleepiness on top of that she turns into an irrational ball of tears and sobs. Joy. So I ended up staying home from work the night she was sick to help hold down the fort. The next day ( Friday of course) my little man started running a fever! Why is it always on a weekend So after calling the Dr and talking with a nurse we were told to monitor the fever. I'm glad to report his cold day was less stress and drama than Daae's cold day! In fact the 2 pics below are from the day he was sick- still a happy boy chillin' with his favorite stuffed toy- his Zebra!

Next is a pic of our cute little strawberry!! Strawberries are very loved by Daae and I so when we decided to plant something in front of the house this year we decided to become a bit ambitious and we bought a strawberry plant! We've been keeping it in the house and watered it till the weather got nicer. Well it FINALLY happened and we planted it yesterday night. As I was putting it in the ground got a fun little surprise.... a lil green baby strawberry!!!! Hopefully we have something red to blog about in a few months!

The last thing isn't mega exciting, but it made me happy :D My sis in law gave me a 1/2 finished card that she was sick of looking at LoL We are in a card group together so she decided to pass her 1/2 done card to me to see if I could make anything fun out of it. Well it is probably the cutest cad I've done, and the thanks goes to Marci for starting it for me! I added the butterfly and the word Dream. I love it!!!

So that was April so far my friends! Wow time is really flying by! Next moth is May and my boy will be 6 months old! Then in July I'll have a 5 yr old! Where does the time go???? Well I better get back to enjoying it!!! Thanks my friends!

I HATE my fridge!

Weird title, but too true! Why do I hate my fridge you say? Because it is trying to sabotage my re-found goal of loosing weight. I know it always seems to be a goal, but when I decide to be pro-active about it and not just try half hearted, you'd think the universe (or at least the fridge) would rally to help! But nooooo! So here is the problem- my fridge froze me lettuce!!! And it is not just discriminatory towards lettuce- strawberries, oranges, celery- they have all fallen victim ot my dumb rented fridge! Today I pulled a big yummy soft Grandma's Snickerdoodle cookie from my kitchen drawer. OH HEAVEN! But then the little weight loss angel popped onto my shoulder and said "Put it back sister!!!!" So I did!!!! Yeah progress! But I was still hungry sooooo little angel intergects " There is lettuce in the fridge and chow mein needles in teh cupboard! Right on!!!" Thanks little angel! So I open the fridge, reach for the lettuce... and recieve an un-natural crunchy sound... it is cold-too cold. I flip it over and there you have it- frozen nasty lettuce!!! So after repeatedly slamming the head of lettuce into the freezer door it makes its way into the trash- flame to $1.91. So frustrating! So what to placate myself with now!? Snickerdoodle :) No no no!! I was strong this time, and some rasins won out! So help me fridge you will get yours and you will not win this one you unholy death box of cold!

March Madness!!!

Well our little boy is 4 months old now! And he has now picked up the art of squealing! The fun thing is that he does what Daaelynn use to do at this age; he will mimic you when you squeal at him. With Daae it was more screaming and she would only do it with Riley. I WISH I still had video of that, but it was lost on one of Riley's old phones :p

So what else is new in our home!? Well we just got back last weekend from a trip to Vegas to see the family. We went for a few reasons-my brother and his fam are moving to Oklahoma soon and I wanted to see them before they are off, my dad hurt himself when he was up here in Jan to see Jaxon so he didn't get to spend as much time with the lil boy as he would like, and we ended up going to the temple and getting my grandparents sealed together and then sealed to their two children who have passed on. We didn't know my dad needed a living ordinance form thingy soooo he had to put his own sealing to his parents of for later. We ended up having a GREAT time and Jaxon's first looooong car ride wasn't too bad. We'll see how everyone does driving to Disneyland in September ( we were going to go in July, but I came to my senses :D)

We've seen TWO movie this month which is very abnormal for us! We saw Alice in Wonderland down in Vegas and then last night my AWESOME hubby watched the little boy with his friend Rob so Daaelynn, our friend LeAnn, and I could go see the Princess and the Frog. SO CUTE PEOPLE! If you haven't seen it go buy it because it was Disney at its finest in my opinion! And woohoo HOT disney prince my friends!!!! Yah I'm a freak :D To top the night off we grabbed some Jamba Juice on the way home and an ice cream for Daae....crap...now I want a Jamba Juice!!! YUMMY!!!

In Daaelynn news, we get to go to Kindergarten registration on Wednesday! She's excited! I just hope she stays excited when the real thing gets here. I'm torn :( I will miss having her at home all day- not to mention I am trusting other people with the care of my kiddo and that is so weird for me because I am kinda protective- BUT she really needs school!!! She will have so much fun interacting with other kids. My big fear is that I don't want her to be jaded afterwards. What is her teacher isn't nice? What if some kid is really mean to her? She hasn't had to deal with these important things in her first 4/12 years of life!! I haven't prepared her for the mean people!!!!! Ok that is probably a bit spastic, but she's my first to go into the public school system and I is scared! Just don't tell her!

OH and Riley got his '91 Saleen all the way from Florida!! Yeah! He's a happy boy! Let us hope that it doesn't do any acting up though- I hate acting up cars because it equals a crabby husband!

So that in a nutshell is our life right now! Here are some more pictures! See yah my peeps!!! ;)

Tubby Time!! Still lovin it!

Daaelynn my dirt lover- just like her Momma!

Bed time!

What a cute lil man! Don't you just wanna eat him up!?

What good lookin kids!

Be Mine

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!! I'm not huge into Valentines day, but I sure do have a lot to love this Valentines day :) I have 2 beautiful children who look like my gorgeous husband (who bought me Super Mario Brothers Wii game TEEHEE!) I know there isn't anything that could make me fall outta love with these three awesome people. To top it off, last night my sweet lil girl made me choke up with a simple " I love you too Mommy" I hope you all have as much love in your life this Valentines Day as I do!!!!!
