Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas all my friends and family! I figured since we are leaving to go outta town tomorrow I'd better get on here and wish you all a wonderful holiday week!!! Our Chritmas season has been an eventful one, and sometimes cruddy ( Riley sliding the van into the corner of a guys truck bed :s), BUT we have soooo much to be thankful and grateful for! There has been so much fun going on as well including a meeting with Santa at the family Christmas party! YEAH! Daaelynn LOVED it and was 1st in line to see him :) Hopefully she'll have been good enough to get that blue tea set she's shooting for ;) He'll have to deliver it to Vegas since that's where we will be for Christmas day. It'll be so fun to spend time with my family for Christmas. We hope you all have an awesome Christmas and a wonderful New Year!!! Remember the true reason for the season and all Christ has given to us! We love you!!!!!!

Anniversary Fun!

On Friday Riley and I celebrated our 5th anniversary! Yeah! Eternity to go :D We had dinner at Fat Jack's in Payson (Riley's FaVoRiTe pizza place). Then we went and looked at the lights on Salem pond before going to the grand finale!!! And for those who don't know I was in charge of this anniversary and all the planning. Now I am not good at suprises like Riley is. Usually I blew it so I was syked that Riley didn't guess where we were going till we parked! HEHEHE! First he guessed we were going to a movie then he guessed we were going to see the Nativity..hehehe WRONG SUCKER! I was so proud I didn't blow the suprise and it ended up being so fun! We went to the Comedy Sportz Club on Center street right down from Los Hernamos, and if you are reading this and thinking- "Hm...I've never been there." Well you NEED to go!!!!!! It is an improv. comedy show and it was AWESOME! we laughed our butts off! It was great! And only $8-$10 per person and sooo much more entertaining than a movie! So go go go!!!
It was an awesome anniversary :D One for the record books!

Tis the Season for Blood pressure meds!

OK I was starting to feel bad about not having posted since before thanksgiving but NEVERMIND LoL more than half my blog buddies haven't updated either hehehe! Yeah for those who did though! I love hearing about what everyone is up to- especially those of you I rarely see :( Sadness!
SO do you ever get to the point in the holidays where you are so excited but a little to a big part of you can't wait till they are over????? Oh that's where I am :( I LOVE THE HOLIDAYS! Buuuttttttt- wow they are stressful. And they become more stressful when you find out that somewhere in January you're going to have to shell out $700 for a new clutch in your Jeep- oh yes indeed people! But we are at least beyond freaking out about it and now it's time to work some magic and pull some cash out of certain orifices!
But I really do love the Christmas season even if it can be a $ strain if you're not careful! I hope everyone's Christmas season rocks out hard man!! YEAH! LoL just ignore me :D TTYL!!

I am Thankful!

I just wanted to send out a thank you to all of you on this weekend of thnakfullness!!!! I will confess that I didn't have a whole lot of friends for the first couple of month that we've lived back up here, and it was a huge bummer :( And even though most of you are relatively new friends to me I just want you to know how EXCEPTIONALLY thankful I am to all of you for being any sort of friend to me because I was really missing you!

I hope you all have a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving!!!!! LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!!! :D

Boobies :D

My sister-in-law Heather and I were at Walmart looking at the PJ's which you all know is right by the bras and panties. Well as we were looking around Daaelynn strolls around the corner with a bright purple bra. She handed it to me and told me to "put the boobie on"- hehe. So after sending her off to put it back she paraded a green polka dot bra on over and once again we sent it back. Then Heather decided to show her something even better! The little girls training bra section! Oh dear! LoL Thanks Heather! So she then finds a miniature of the big girl bra's, hands it to me and asks me to put on her boobies!!!! HAHAHAHA! Hilarious people! I told her she wasn't big enough for a bra, but this wasn't a good enough answer because she huffed, put her hands on her hips, stomped a foot and told me to " Put on her bobbies now!" Fortunately we made it out of the store without a training bra for my 3 year old, and we sure had a good laugh!

We are alive!!!

Hello my peoples! I feel like it has been FOREVER since I've been on here to update! Sorry :s We are alive and doing well though! We've been in our new place for about a week and a half-ish and we're loving it!! We did have a little adventure with a leak under the sink and we now have a 1 1/2 x 2 foot hole in the ceiling in our bedroom :D But at least the leak has stopped and our landlords were right on it! They are fun people! The only think I'm having a hard time with is being without the internet :.( BOOHOOHOO!!! I'm seriously dying without it! We've shopped around, but everything we're finding seems so exspensive! So if anyone has any suggestions let me know before I loose my little mind! I hope all of you are doing great and having a wonderful November! We're looking forward to the holiday fun on our end!!! Hopefully I'll be able to update with some pics soon instead of just my boring old text!! :D SEE YAH KIDS!

Halloween Fun!

Well November is here and October is gone, but we ended it with one fun trick or treating night! We went and trick or treated on center street and unversity this year with all the cousins! It was fun, but a little more crowded than last year. Then we went back to my sister-in-law's home and had dinner before our neighboorhood trick or treating marathon! We hit their entire ward I believe! But Daaelynn had SOOOOOOO much fun! She dressed up as Cinderella, and oh she was so cute! We had an array of costumes among the family including- a witch, a wizard, 2 nurses, a Dr., a cheerleader, a pumpkin, Hannah Montana, a farmer girl, a soilder, the evil queen, a hawaiian girl (who is a boy in real life!), and a man entirely in black! Everyone, but Riley AKA the man in black, went around the neighboorhood trick or treating. Riley's job was handing out the candy and he had a whole lot of fun pretending to be stuffed and scaring the crap out of many children! He made one girl cry and 5 kids ran off and never came back! LoL We got to witness one such scaring and it was hilarious!
The kids had tons of fun trick or treating and i have never seen my daughter run so fast house to house in my life! She had so much fun and held her Uncle Chris' had the entire time! He was dressed as the wizard, but the costume is designed with a huge fake plastic face and your head is in its hat so it looked like a character you'd find like in disneyland. So she made the wizard her trick or treating companion for the night. It was so funny! We had a great time! Now I just have to explain every night this week that Halloween is over and there will be 365 days till it comes around again....I have a feelkign it'll be a long 365 days!!! :D

Invite is not bite

Daaelynn just keeps whooping out the funny moments here! OK! So yesterday evening we ran out of milk so we were going to take a little walk down to the Albertson's and grab some more. BTW- I love having a store in walking distance it rocks! OK so I told her to go upstairs and invite Daddy to come with us to the store. So I'm prepping dinner and waiting for them to be ready and Riley comes in the kitchen and says, "So why did you send her to bite me?" .......huh??? "She bit you?" Riley- "Yah, she came upstairs, got behind me and bit my shoulder, then told me we needed to walk to the store." Then it hit me- " OH! I said go INVITE Daddy and she must of heard go BITE Daddy!" HAHAHAHAHAHA! I had a good laugh over that one. Kids have the best comedic abilities! Oh I love it!

Fun Moments

Last night we were at Riley's mom and dad's helping them move furniture back into there newly carpeted living room ( it looks great by the way :D ). Well it came time for us to leave and usually Daae has a heart attack whenever we leave. So this time we were trying to get her out of there without the drama and not only did we succeed, but I got one of those simple, but memorable mommy moments out of it. I went to get her jacket on her and she turned it into a game of "wrestle the jacket on me if you can" . She ran through the living room around the furniture laughing the genuine laugh that makes all mom's smile, then she veered into the kitchen and I trapped her at the back door and successfully got her jacket on her- then she tackled me to the ground. It was so fun! And the best thing is that no one got hurt! You know how when you're all having a great time then someone bonks their head and there goes the fun!? Well we didn't even have any of that! So it was just one of those perfect play moments that I get to remember :D

The Hunt is Over!

Well after all my whining and crying finally we have finally found a place to live! Yeah! And I will tell you this has been a weird experience with what I am sure has had some divine intervention mixed in. We have been looking for so long and nothing has been comming up. We looked at a few places up in Orem, and even filled out an application for a duplex. Well as I was waiting for someone to call us from the said orem duplex a week after we had turned in the application, we were driving throuhg Payson to go see Riley's parents when we noticed that an apartment where his lil sister Heather lives was available. We joked about moving there and how funny it would be not to tell Heather and just move in, but it was just a joke because we were moving south...right??? Well that night we found ourselves standing in the available apartment a few doors down from his sister's home setting up a time to sign the contract! :O Now I was FREAKING OUT! Beacuse this was not where we wanted to live! We were moving North not farther South! It wasn't till we met with the owners again yesterday that I put all the peices together and decided this was where God wanted up to be for several reasons- of which I won't go into listing, but trust me it is where we need to be. Oh and guess who called the day after we found the apartment? The Orem duplex owners! I don't know about you, but I think the fact that they didn't call sooner was a sign in itself.
So that is it my friends. We still have a very trying 2 weeks ahaead of moving and tight tight budgeting, but we have found where we need to be! Now whatever will I whine about??? :D

Mia

Well I finally got pics of the other baby who was born last Friday! She is my brother's new little girl so now they have 2! Her full name is Diadamia Alice Ferguson (mia for short:) she was 6lb 5 oz 18inches born at 8:53am And she is way cute! This is the hard thing about living away from family :/ You don't get to see them as often as you'd like and new babies are 1/2 grown by the time you get to see them! So here are some pics of her :) I'm a proud aunt who just has to show off!!!! :D

On the Hunt!

Well we are now diligently apartment hunting since finally people are listing places that are available Nov 1st! Yeah! We visited one place tonight and drove by two others and man it is stressful! Fun, but when you know you have to be out by a certain date it is kinda scary not to have a place to go to lined up. I just keep having to tell myself that we'll find the place we need to be and it'll all be fine. We've got 23 days so I shouldn't be freaking! We really liked the place we just looked at and hooppeeeee that we'll be the ones to get it. Application filling out is also nerve racking :D Ph to have a house and not have to worry about al this crud LoL Someday Megan, someday! Well that's all I have today folks! Just needed to vent some fears and crap! Thanks for listening!!!!

Babies, Fun and Pumpkins!

Well it has been a fun weekend for this family! Yesterday there were not one but TWO babies born into the family! My brother's wife Laura had their little girl Mia at 8:53 in Vegas yesterday and Riley's sister Jennilyn had her little boy Trevor at 1:13 here in American fork. It's so funny because Daaelynn, Riley and I get to be the common factor between the two families, or otherwise Jennilyn and Laura wouldn't be connected in any way! To add to the irony they each hace 2yr old little girls who are only a month apart! I think they plan it just to keep me on the ball when birthdays come up! So we got to go see Jennilyn in the hospital, and that was such a fun experience especialy for Daae, because she is old enough to be able to have a reaction and opinion about a new baby. I'm glad to report that she thought he was the cutest little thing and she wanted to hold him and take him home :D I had to explain that he wasn't our baby that he was Jenni's, and she was alright with that LoL I wish we would have been able to see Mia, but we'll have to wait till Christmas even though from the little phone pic I got to see she is a cutie!

Our other family fun was a little pumpkin painting we did just a while ago, and we got Riley to participate! Yeah!!! So I added some pics of that as well as some of our baby day yestersay! I hope everyone else has a fun weekend too!!!! :D

31 days!-HELP

31 DAYS FOLKS IS ALL WE HAVE!!! We officially gave our notice that we are moving out of our apartment in Spanish Fork by Halloween, and it has me a tid bit nervous :D I feel like this is a good thing for our family, but change is something that always rattles me. I guess that is human nature, but sometimes I feel like I'm even more scared of new things than the average human being. Maybe I'm just scared in the moment, but despite all that, we are moving no matter how scared I am :D LoL So now the real hunt begins! We still need to find a place to live-eek! I would have rather given notice and had a new plave lined up, but that is easier said than done my friends! Everyone who will have places available the 1st of Nov. have yet to list there apartments- which is logical considering that everyone is concerned about October move-ins! SO with all of this said I am now enlisting you, all my UT dwellers! If you hear of any apartments in Provo/Orem, and possibly Springville 2bd $500-$700 a month where move in is towards the end of OCT- Let me know!!!! :D And I will love you forever! OK I'll love you forever anyways, but then I'll love you even more!!

The Moth Cough- :D

Hello my peoples! Something funny happened this last Sunday and I've now got a minute to share it with you. On Sundays we usually go over to Riley's parents for dinner along with Riley's lil sister Heather and her hubby Carson. Well this last Sunday as usual we all ended up in the backyard and Carson, Heather, and Daae ended up on the trampoline. For dessert we were eating Fat Boy's Ice cream sandwiches and their chocolate and peanut covered bars- YUM! Well Daae scarfed down an ice cream sandwich and wanted the other ice cream bar next- I think Heather was eating one and so Daae decided she needed one as well :D Well we told her no which doesn't stop a 3 year old you know especially when they are at her level in a lawn chair! But we stuck our grounds- until she was funny! Her face was a mess so Heather asked Riley to go get a wash cloth for Daae's face. So he did and then came back and cleaned her face. As he did so she asked him if she could have the "moth cough" now. "The wash cloth is right here he," said holding it out to her. "No," she declared "They are on the chair." She thought that the ice creams were called wash clothes- or in her case " moth coughs" :D So she thought she was finally getting her ice cream! Well we thought it was hilarious and decided to relent and give her her "moth cough". I'm afraid this will be a lasting nickname for ice cram bars now.

PS- The pic is usually what our trampoline fun looks like. I was thrilled to get such an awesome picture of Riley leaping towards Daae! AWESOME!

I am Grateful!

:D Sorry about all the crazy background changes! I'm sure it will keep happening and there will be a new one like every couple weeks. I can't help myself! So after reading other's uplifting blogs I decided I whined a lot :D So I'm going to do somehting on here I did in my journal a few times. 50 things I'm grateful for and they are not in any specific order! It seems like a whole lot, but it's fun to take a min and appreciate everyhting you love- even the little things. SO here we go!

37- Making cookies with my baby! It's some of the best fun and she loves the dough just liek me!!! HAHAHA!
38- Scrapbooking! Riley hates it but it's so fun!!!

40- My family! Extended and all! I love having a big family!
41- My hair- that might sound shallow, but it's made me different :D and that's good!
42- Friends- sometimes I don't make them easily because I am shy at first! GASP! I know you think I'm lying, but it's true! So I lvoe the friends I've made!
42- My van! And it's so far working great!
43-Grass! I love grass!- and not in a drug way :D

Roll bar Update and Fishing!

We have a roll bar! Yeah! And it only cost us $40! Double YEAH! Riley burned a lot of gas backtracking back up to Salt Lake to get it, but it is here and it is good! This all happened on our crazy Saturday that ended with a grand little fishing trip with the Akagi family and a friend of Riley's from work. The Akagi's had to leave a little early, but we did have a very fun time even though there were no fish biting whatsoever! At least not on our side of the lake! :D It was fun just getting out and seeing some nature. It was also the first time I traversed the road up Payson Canyon all by myself!!! YIKES! But I made it and we lived!!! I am very grateful that no one was comming the opposite way on some of those one way roads up there because I would not have been the one backin up :D Well here are some pics of our fun!

A long day and it's only Noon!

I've been awake for 3 hours and already it's been crazy! OK so Riley's Jeep is in need of a different roll bar. There is a rollbar on it that the previous owner put on BUT the soft top does not fit over this roll bar------GRRRRR! Now this wouldn't be a pressing matter, but snow is a commin!! So snow and no roof on the vehicle is not a good idea! SOOOOO I put an ad on KSL saying how badly we need a rollbar and how little money we have for one :D We got a few responses and one guy said he owned a jeep shop blah blah blan and had a few roll bars! Yeah right? Well Ralls just drove up to Sandy and I guess the guy seems like "he did too much drugs as a kid"- quote Riley. So no roll bar! Which makes me happy and ticked! Happy because we are SO BROKE! And ticked because he just wasted so much gas getting up there and the guy is a flake. And now we are back on the hunt! And all of this has happened in 3 hours- BLAH!

In other news, Daaelynn said something hilarious at dinner last night. I was telling Riley that he was a bad example, and I told Daaelynn, "Tell Daddy, you're a bad example!" So she looked at him and said "You're a bad apple!" OH it was so dang funny!!!! That's the great thing about little kids. They say the best and funniest things!!! We love her so much!

Yeah 4 Friday!!!!

Ahhhhhh! It is Friday at last! It was a loonngg week ! I ended up going to work 2 more times than I usually do since Saturday so I am SO ready for the weekend! We've made some plans so it should be a nice break! Once again the weather is getting to me and making me all excited to be outside and having fun this weekend! I wish Spring and Fall were longer :/ Doesn't it always seem like Summer and Winter go on FOREVER, but Spring and Fall are like blips on the radar??? I guess I'll just try and get as much fun in this Fall as I can!
So what else can I blah blah blah about? For me I have so many things I always want to say, but if they do not cohesively flow together and I just jump from one thing to the next I think people get annoyed with me LoL So here, I'll try to be smooottthhhh about my subject transition.....Eh Hem- speaking of Winter who is syked for Christmas?!??!? ( I raise my hand) Who is kinda freaking out about having $ for Christmas? (Up goes the hand again!) Who is a freakish list maker who has to write down every gift and how much they plan to spend on said gifts, even though Christmas is approx. 4 mo away?? (OOOOHHHH MEMEME!!) But I way love Christmas and buying things for people....which is weird because I am also a penny pincher so everyone feel sorry for Riley cuz he gets to live with me :D Never never is there enough money or time! Oh well, we'll make it through somehow!!! Wish me luck and I send gobs of luck back to all of you!!!!!

Bad Bad Megan Keele!

See how bad I am at blogging already!? Sorry :( Then again I am the only person who knows my blog address :D and I couldn't have even told you that till about 2 seconds ago when I finally got back on here to improve my pitiful blog! I'll be better I promise! So what can I say today? Well life in general has been going pretty well. I am getting a bit stressed with the holidays comming and with a jeep that needs soem improving. But I'm trying very hard to be cool about it and not freak out! Also, according to me, we are still planning on moving towards the end of October. Riley has danced around it, but it really is the best decision so everyone drop hints in his direction and help me out :D
In other news I am LOVING this weather! There is something about fall weather that totally invigorates me and gets my blood pumping. It's like excitement runs through me! I love the crisp air, I love the feelign of the holidays approaching, I love the urge I have to go buy hot chocolate and marshemellow fluff, and the desire to snuggle up in a blanket and bunker down by the window with a book and for mentioned coco and marshmellow fluff! love love love love!
Well I'd call this blog a VAST improvement and I hope that more than just me ends up seeing it :) Love you all for even taking intrest in little old me!!!!

Ok so everyone has a blog and is blogging ( who made up that term btw???) soooo I figured I better jump on the band wagon!
