Selection day!

So we got to go to selection day at the RHDC office on Saturday and pick out all of our house stuff! It was way fun and kinda frazzeling! So I hunted down a lot of the stuff that we are pytting into the house online, and down below is what's what! I wish I had a program where I could virtually put it all together, but alas- no such luck, so we have to use our imaginations! The first pic is what our house will look like on the outside. This is the house that is currently being built in our neighborhood that is the same floorplan as ours.

Pretty, huh?! OK and here was the frazzle part of the day. We knew what color we wanted the outside to be from driving about the neighborhood. So below is the color we wanted. We picked it out, and only after picking out everything for the house I noticed our neighbors that would be right next door had the dame stucco color in their hand.....uh oh! As you can imagine the program doesn't want houses the same color sitting right next to each other, so the family who was in the program first gets first dibs. Weeellllll our neighbors were #1 on the list of 9 so they got the slate blue color. It was kind of a blow, but I'm not one to be all crazy so we shook it off and found a new color so.......

Original color we wanted ...

     Backup color we selected ans the trim is about the color of this houses as well. They are both in the gray family so hopefully we don't run into any opposition and have to pick again- cross your finger! We like it though!
                                                               Here is our stone....
                                                                    Here is our roof......
Here are our toffee colored, knotty alder cabinets- might be a shade off, but you get it...
                                                           Counter top color ---->
floor color---->

                                                        Front door, but only one strip of glass, not 2...
                                                                     Inside doors.......

And I think this is the carpet color we picked...

TADA!! We picked out a lot more than this, but the mortar color between the stone and the color of the gutters I don't think was as important to show you! I was amazed at everything we had to pick out! It was fun; I just hope we made the right decisions because there is no going back now! :D SO now comes the easy part- build that house! HAHAHAHA! oh I wish!
